The DOB had issued a warning to property owners on Friday to secure construction sites and various buildings due to the high storm winds, which can bring down weak building facades as well as temporary construction bracings, barriers, and cranes.

Shortly afterwards, another structural collapse occurred in Midtown on Saturday, killing 4 and injuring more than a dozen. Our construction fence injury attorneys mention that reports of the incident do not indicate whether it was due to the high storm winds or failure to take proper safety precautions.
