Life Flight airlifted a man and a woman to local hospitals after receiving critical injuries in a catastrophic crash between a sedan and a pickup truck early on Friday morning about 2:30. The serious collision occurred on FM 529 by Ridgeberry Drive in northwest Harris County.

Reportedly the pickup truck, eastbound on FM 529, attempted an ill-advised turn onto Ridgeberry Drive in front of the sedan. The sedan then crashed into the side of the pickup truck.

Four other occupants of the two vehicles also received transport to hospitals with serious injuries. They were all said to be stable after the catastrophic crash. Both drivers involved have been charged with DWI. (Sources: click2houston.com, and KTRK abc13.com, 3/8/13)
