The Houston police are looking for the young driver of the white Chevy Camaro that fatally crashed into a backyard Halloween party. The driver fled on foot from the 5600 block of Old Greenhouse Road near Gunmert about 1 a.m. on Sunday morning. The male driver is described as 18- to 24-years-old, about 5 foot 9 inches in height with a slim to medium build and with short, light-colored, spiked hair.

Details of the Fatal Hit and Run Crash into a Houston Family’s Backyard Halloween Party

The party took place in a backyard at the 5600 block of Old Greenhouse Road near Gunmert. Old Greenhouse Road ends there and apparently the young driver of a white Chevy Camaro failed to observe or simply chose to ignore the road’s end.

The driver ran the stop sign at the end of the street and drove through a ditch on the other side, driving through the fence of the backyard where a family was hosting a small Halloween party. He continued driving into the back of the family’s home and fatally struck Ana Sylvia Borjas.

The hit and run driver also injured the other four people who were in the backyard at the time of his reckless crash. The four injured victims, including a little girl, 4, required rush transport to the hospital for their injuries. Ms. Ana Sylvia Borjas died at the scene of the tragic accident.
