Monday on Route 281’s frontage road close to Nolana Avenue in Pharr, Texas, Roel Orlando Ruiz lost his life when his motorcycle was involved in a collision with an 18-wheeler. Mr. Ruiz had apparently been turning into a business drive when he crashed with the 18-wheeler. Mr. Ruiz was reportedly not wearing a helmet and died at the scene of the tragic crash.
