Driver Charged with DWI for Hitting Houston Ambulance, Injuring Child | DENENA | POINTS

Early on Tuesday, a man in Houston reportedly ran a red light and then struck an ambulance, knocking it over onto its side with his SUV. The ambulance had been on its way back to the station house when the red light runner struck the emergency vehicle. Two paramedics were injured in the SUV and ambulance crash. An infant boy in the SUV with the driver also received injuries in the crash.

Houston police arrested the red light runner. Accident investigators are saying the man faces a felony DWI charge. (Source: sfgate.com, 6/18/13)
