The boat collision reportedly occurred on the Orange County side of the Intracoastal Waterway. The search continued along the Intracoastal Waterway for Mr. John Tran on Monday until his body was found Monday night in Sabine Lake near the site of the tugboat collision.
The tugboat captain reported the boat collision to the authorities. The tugboat collision sent the crab boat down to the deep, but did not damage the tug.
