Some Important Information about Rollover Accidents and Vehicle Ejection

An enclosed vehicle like a passenger car or pickup truck helps protect you in the event of a crash.Crumple zones, airbags, and seatbelt safety restraints are among the safety features that vehicle designers and manufacturers have built in for your protection.

But when ejected from a vehicle during a rollover, our Texas accident attorneys point out that accident victims lose those built-in protective devices and their fragile human bodies take the full forces of high-speed crash impacts. Vehicle ejection during a rollover often results in severe head traumas and catastrophic injuries to the chest and torso.

75% of victims ejected from their vehicles during rollover accidents suffer fatal injuries. About 33% of passenger vehicle traffic fatalities result from rollover accidents. Our Texas accident attorneys urge you to help ensure your safety out on the road: wear your seatbelt. And educate your family and friends about the importance of wearing their seatbelts.
