Friday afternoon about 3 p.m. two boats collided in a marina at Hugo Point Park in the Trinity River Marsh in Cove, Texas. Several people were on the two boats when they crashed. Four of those people received serious injuries in the boat crash. Our Galveston personal injury lawyers note that the marina is near Gou Hole Road and FM 563 in Chambers County.

A 15-year-old teen girl who received a head injury from the Hugo Point Park boat collision was reportedly the most seriously injured. She was airlifted to Hermann Memorial Hospital in Houston. Three other injured victims of the boat crash received ambulance transport to hospitals. The cause of the Hugo Point Park boat collision remains under investigation.
