In northwest Harris County around 10 p.m. on Tuesday, the driver of a motorcycle lost control of the bike, struck a curb, and then crashed into a pole. Ashley Campos, the passenger on the back of the motorcycle, was ejected from the bike and suffered fatal impact injuries.

The tragic accident occurred in the 6800 block of High Stone. Reportedly neither Ashley Campos nor the driver of the motorcycle was wearing motorcycle helmets at the time of the tragic crash. HCSO deputies were investigating the accident. (Source: Dale Lezon, Houston Chronicle, 2/6/13)
