On a Saturday afternoon about 5:30, a semi truck collided heavily with an SUV in a south Beaumont neighborhood. The catastrophic crash occurred at the intersection of Bolivar Street and Victoria Avenue. Witnesses indicated that 9 people, including 6 children were injured in the crash. At least 7 of them required hospitalization and 3 had been seriously injured. A neighborhood resident pulled 2 children from the crash wreckage. No cause was given for the SUV and semi truck crash.
