DPS Troopers indicted that a male driver with a female passenger crossed the centerline of State Highway 19 early Thursday and collided head-on with another vehicle. The high-speed head-on impact occurred south of Lovelady, Texas and about 90 miles north of Houston. Deirdre Lester of Lovelady was driving the car that the wrong-way driver hit head-on. Ms. Lester and the couple in the wrong-way vehicle all died at the scene of the fiery head-on crash. (Source: kwtx.com, 6/13/13)
