The Houston motorcycle accident attorneys at Denena & Points were troubled to learn of the tragic death of another motorcyclist on local freeways recently. 63-year-old John Patrick Conklin of Conroe, TX died from a March 5th motorcycle crash caused by a disabled concrete truck up ahead. Mr. Conklin was riding his Harley Davidson from FM 3083 onto the I-45 entrance ramp. A disabled concrete truck was stalled on the ramp up ahead, creating a traffic backup.

According to reports, Mr. Conklin attempted to break his bike, but lost control of the vehicle and was ejected from the motorcycle. He slid across the northbound lane of the roadway and impacted the back of a station wagon. Mr. Conklin was not wearing a helmet at the time of the serious accident, and received transport to the hospital with severe head trauma where he died two days later.
