Tragic La Marque, Texas SUV Accident Claims Life of Young Boy on Scooter 

A tragic accident claimed the life of an 8-year-old boy in La Marque, Texas on Monday afternoon. Just after 5 p.m., the boy was riding a motor scooter in his neighborhood down West Houston Drive. Reportedly, the boy was not wearing a helmet at the time.

An SUV on Fannin Street struck and killed the boy, who died at the scene of the accident. According to reports of the incident, the driver of the SUV had the right-of-way and did not see the boy before the SUV hit him. No charges have been filed in the matter.
