The 13-vehicle pileup occurred at around 12:45 p.m. on Monday afternoon on heavily traveled I-35 just south of Bruceville-Eddy, Texas. The 13-vehicle chain reaction wreck involved four 18-wheelers. The fatally injured victim was discovered in a crushed car lodged beneath one of the 18-wheelers. News reports of the major accident did not disclose what caused the 13-vehicle chain reaction wreck.
