Eastex Freeway Suspected DWI Accident claims 4 Lives

Police think alcohol might have played a role in a deadly DWI accident that claimed the lives of 4 men on Sunday. Just before 3 a.m., the driver of a Ford pickup truck veered from his lane, hit a curb, and flipped the truck several times. The rollover wreck occurred in northeast Houston on the southbound Eastex Freeway’s feeder road by Saunders.

South Loop Suspected DWI Accident claims Life of 4-Year-Old Child

On the previous Friday afternoon, 40-year-old Roberto Trevino swerved the black Mitsubishi Montero he was driving onto a grassy area along the 610 Loop near Telephone. He tried to correct his course and get back on the South Loop when he lost control of Montero, which went into a rollover. His 4-year-old daughter, Chloe Trevino, was ejected from the SUV and died at the scene of the southeast Houston accident.

Roberto Trevino, suspected of DWI in the wreck, has been charged with murder in the death of his daughter. He was being held at the Harris County Jail with bail set at $100,000.
