Kenneth Wheeler of Malakoff, Texas, was fatally trapped between a garbage truck and its clamshell mechanism as Clean Sweep Trash Service unloaded trash into the Corsicana landfill on Wednesday afternoon. Witnesses say that the truck had already finished unloading its trash and the driver was letting the truck back down into its closed position when Mr. Wheeler reached into the back of the truck for some reason.
