A man lost his life in a fatal ATV accident on Friday night as he was checking on cattle in a pasture in Fort Bend County. The accident occurred on Moffitt Lane near Landrum Lane by a bayou in far southwest Houston.
Reportedly there was a chain dragging behind the ATV that got caught on a concrete drainage outlet. When the chain caught, it caused the ATV to flip over, and the man was fatally ejected from the vehicle. He died at the scene of the tragic accident. The fatally injured man had reportedly been a deputy in Fort Bend County and had once run for Sheriff there about 20 years back.
