Take Extra Precautions: Difficult Weather Conditions can Cause Careful Drivers to Crash

Almost one quarter of traffic accidents have some relation to the weather. Slick roads are the contributing factor in most of these wrecks, but wind and fog also cause their share of crashes. When you encounter high winds, if you can’t pull over and wait it out, then take extra care. Leave more space between your vehicle and others, adjust your speed, and try to take alternate routes that avoid narrow roads where you’re at risk from high wind gusts.
